            northeast of Flagstaff,  Arizona.  I receive them DIRECTLY from these
            talented artists.  Each piece takes  many, many hours to complete.

                                     DREAM  CATCHER  VASES

Whoever dreamed that a pottery bowl could look this nice?                            1.navajo.dc.bowl.whitesky.jpg (19745 bytes)
Pauline Blackhorse did and created it.  It has the appearance
of wood, is hand etched and painted to depict the painted
desert with BUTTES, BRAVE on HORSEBACK, WIGWAM, 
3 goats and a QUONSET HUT.     CLEAR GLAZED on the inside.

These murals, hand painted by Pauline on her lovely pottery, 
actually depict the living conditions on much of the reservation 
even today 
Many of the Navajo and Hopi people on the reservation live in 
these makeshift huts and have no electricity or running water.  
The high Mesas are at 7,000 feet so it does snow in the wintertime 
and they depend on propane for heat.
